Write with me!

Hi Friends!

I’ve officially been bi-coastal for six months now, and it has been super interesting. Each month, I go back to Los Angeles for about 10 days to produce live events, take meetings, and attend film festivals, screenings, or premieres. In January, I was lucky enough to attend the Oscars for the first time! What an interesting show this year, with Anora taking so many awards.

As we roll into spring and travel baseball season for my son, I’m mostly boots on the ground in New England. I’ve decided to use this time to push some passion projects forward, focus on my craft, and run a few workshops!

I was up for a great teaching job at Boston University, but it didn’t go my way, so I decided to launch some courses on my own.

These workshops are welcome to writers of all levels, so please consider signing up or sharing them with any creatives in your life! More info below, but in simple terms:

  • Script Writing Workshop: six weeks, starts Tuesday, April 22nd, 6PST, $300—you will finish a full outline and first act.

  • The Artist’s Way: six weeks, starts Monday, April 21st, 6PST, $150 —This book by Julia Cameron has changed my life and brought me peace in my creative endeavors. If you’re feeling stuck, join me. You will not regret it.

Personally, I’m finishing a feature that centers around the CDC and the opioid epidemic with a SPOTLIGHT tone. I’m dropping some fun, simple stories on Wattpad thanks to my work with The Artist’s Way and plugging away with a new pilot that I’ve been toiling with for a year now (that you to all my writer friends who have been ruminating on this with me!) Last year, I was lucky enough to consult on an episode of The Pitt on Max. The whole team did an incredible job, and if you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely check it out.

I’m still 100% dedicated to OneLegacy Foundation as a freelance Writer and Public Relations specialist as well as president of OneLegacy Inspires Hollywood. It is an absolute honor to work with the families of organ donors and the recipients who were given a second chance at life.

Please check out my website for updates, although I will try to send these emails out regularly to feel connected while I hide in my cabin in the woods and crank out some story! I hope you’ll join me.
